Organization Mission Statement
Christian Life Children's Centre (CLCC) is a home away from home. We believe that children are important individuals and should be treated with respect and dignity regardless of race, beliefs, or special needs. All children need to be loved, nurtured and guided to grow physically, emotionally, mentally and socially in the best way possible. CLCC provides childcare and preschool for children ages 1 to 12, transportation to and from ten schools, fieldtrips and outdoor play on a regular basis. The centre operates all year and currently has 240 children enrolled and employs 35 educators.

The funds donated will be used to
The funds will be used towards the purchase of a fridge, freezer as well as a work table for our kitchen. The centre prepares (no extra cost to parents) healthy and nutritious snack both morning and afternoon to all children. CLCC also puts on monthly 'drop-in' Family Dinners called "Dine and Dash" for all families (including grandparents and older siblings). The meals are mostly prepared and cooked by volunteers as well as additional volunteers organizing, setting up, serving and cleaning.
The organizations current sources of funding are
79% parent fees (including government subsidies for low income families), 12% from the Provincial government (MCFD), 9% funding (Supported Child Development/MCFD) to pay for staff that work with children requiring extra support.
